验证 信息rmation & 形式

The Department of 教育 selects 1 out of every 3 FAFSAs to be verified, or in other words audited, by the college's 金融援助 Office.  如果选择, the college is required to collect additional documentation from the student and their family in order to verify information provided on the FAFSA.  验证 must be complete in order to receive federal, 状态, and some institutional financial aid. The length of this process will vary with each individual, so it is important to submit materials as soon as possible.
